Guest Policies for Route 66 Motor Inn

Welcome to Route 66 Motor Inn! We are delighted to have you as our guest and want to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Please take a moment to review our guest policies to help create a pleasant experience for everyone.

1. Check-In and Check-Out:

  • Check-in time is 2:00 pm, and check-out time is 10:00 am. Please let us know in advance if you require an early check-in or late check-out, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

  • Please visit reception on check-in. If you plan to arrive outside our manned reception hours, please contact the reception to organise the late check In. Manned reception times are Mon-Fri, 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. Sat & Sun 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Our after-hours service to you is 24/7 so please phone 0451060593 for after-hours service. 

  • Upon check-in, a valid government-issued photo ID and a valid credit/debit card are required for verification and security purposes.

  • Check-out is 10 am. A late check-out is subject to availability between 10 am and 11 am. A late check-out between 11 am and 12 noon incurs a $50 fee. Any time after 12 pm would constitute another full-day fee.

2. Payment and Reservation:

  • Full payment for your stay is required five days before check-in. We accept major credit and debit cards and cash.

  • Reservations can be made online, over the phone, or in person. A valid credit/debit card is required to secure a reservation.

  • We may charge your credit card five days before your arrival date.

  • If the payment is declined, we may cancel the booking.

3. Smoking and Vaping:

  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, including guest rooms. A designated smoking area is available.

4. Noise and Disturbances:

  • Please be considerate of other guests and keep noise levels down, especially between 8: 00 PM to 7:00 am.

  • Parties and events in guest rooms are not allowed.

6. Guest Behavior:

  • We expect all guests to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner, refraining from any illegal or disruptive activities. F

8. Housekeeping:

  • Our housekeeping team will service your room daily, except at weekends and public holidays, unless otherwise requested. Please display the “Do Not Disturb” sign if you do not wish to be disturbed. The sign is located on top of the fridge.

9. Damages and Lost Items:

  • Guests will be held responsible for any damages caused to the room or property during their stay.

  • Route 66 Motor Inn is not responsible for lost or stolen items. In-room safes are provided for your convenience.

10. Parking:

  • Complimentary on-site parking is available for registered guests. There are no numbers on the parking bays. Please do not park in front of the other than yours unless informed in the reception.

  • Please note that Route 66 Motor Inn and its management are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle while parked on our premises. 

11. Health and Safety:

  • In case of emergencies, please familiarise yourself with the evacuation routes posted in your room.

  • Guests are responsible for their personal safety and the security of their belongings.

12. No pets allowed:  Strictly no pets allowed. We absolutely love pets, but due to hygienic and health reason/s, we cannot accommodate them on our property. Violating this rule will result in an additional cleaning fee equivalent to the cleaning fee in your booking, as the housekeepers will need to do extra work.

13.No unregistered guests allowed:   No unauthorised guests. Our home is prepared to accommodate ONLY the guests on the reservation. Each additional unauthorised guest will accrue a $100 fine, and your booking will be cancelled immediately without a refund.

Please be aware that failure to adhere to these house policies and booking terms may result in immediate cancellation of your booking without a refund. We value the comfort and experience of all our guests and appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a harmonious environment.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our guests to the best of our abilities. However, to ensure the smooth operation of our motel and provide the best possible service to all our guests, we have established the following 7-day cancellation policy:

  • Cancellation Timeframe: Guests must notify us of cancellations at least seven days before check-in to avoid cancellation charges which is the total booking value.

  • Cancellation Notification: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. The date and time of the cancellation request will be recorded for reference.

    • Travellers who cancel seven days or more before 1:00 AM AEST on the day of check-in are charged no fee.

    • Travellers who cancel less than seven days before 1:00 AM AEST on the day of check-in (including no-shows) are charged 100% of the booking amount.

  • Early Departures: For guests who decide to check out earlier than their original departure date, the remaining nights may not be eligible for a refund.

  • No-Shows: Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled check-in date without notifying us in advance will be considered a “no-show.” In such cases, the reservation will be cancelled, and the guest will be charged for the entire stay.

  • Group bookings of more than five rooms: Please cancel the booking one month prior to the check-in date to avoid a full charge.

The privacy and security of your information is very important to us. This Privacy Policy is issued by Route66motorInn , which includes its parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and covers information collected and used by the MotorInn in the course of its business. Your information may be collected and used by the MotorInn through your use of this Site.  We have prepared this Privacy Policy to explain more about how we collect and manage your information. INFORMATION WE COLLECT: Information you give us while you are using the the Site, you may provide us with various information that personally identifies you. For example, we collect information from you when you make a booking through our reservation system or stay at the MotorInn. This information may be provided to us directly when you make a reservation through our reservation system, through our websites, directly at the hotel or through mobile applications. In some cases, we may receive this information from a third party, such as when you book through an online travel agency or hotel booking site. INFORMATION WE GET FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. We also collect information from you when you browse the Site, use our mobile applications or participate in certain services at the Hotel, such as wireless internet services. In these instances, information such as your country information, internet protocol (“IP”) address, media access control address and other characteristics about your system or device may be automatically collected. This information may be collected for functional purposes as well as to improve your experience when using these services. This information may also be used for aggregated trend and statistical analysis, and for showing you more relevant advertisements and messages.  Site usage may also provide us with other information including, without limitation, domain server, type of computer, and type of web browser and other relevant information about your online experience and use of the Site. In some instances where we have your consent or where permitted under applicable law, we may send you marketing communications (which may include text messages) for products and services that we believe would be relevant for you. We also may use information related to your stay to display targeted advertisements on our websites or on third party websites or to send you more relevant messaging. Additionally, we use this information for purposes of aggregated trend and statistical analysis to evaluate and improve our products and services, plan new hotel locations and services and other market research. WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH: We will share your information with the Hotel you are staying at to fulfill your reservation. We may also share your information with third party service providers to provide services in relation to our business as well as to help us improve our products and services. For example, we might use a third party or a third party product for the purposes of market research and data analytics. In certain instances, subject to local consent requirements, third party service providers may also assist us with various marketing campaigns. We may also share your information with third parties to extend special offers about their own products and services to you. Any such parties will need to agree to comply with our privacy requirements before we provide them with information Aside from the purposes described above, we do not share your stay information with any other third parties unless we have your consent or under special circumstances, such as: * when we believe in good faith that the disclosure is required by law or to protect the safety of hotel guests, employees, the public or MotorInn property; * when disclosure is required to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, subpoena, warrant or legal process; or * in the event of a merger, asset sale, or other related transaction. There may be other times when we collect and use personal information, for example if you choose to participate in one of our competitions or sweepstakes, sign up to receive our newsletters or other special offers and promotions, download one of our mobile applications or participate in one of our other services. In these instances, we will collect information from you for running and administering the respective competition, sweepstakes or service that you have elected to participate in. The information collected may include personal details such as your name, address, and contact information, as well as certain demographic information. In each case, we will collect, use and secure your information in a manner consistent with the general principles set out in this Privacy Policy unless we tell you otherwise. DATA TRANSFER The information that you provide us during the course of a reservation or through the provision of any other services may be transferred to any of our affiliated entities and hotels around the world for the purposes of carrying out or facilitating these services. LOCATION INFORMATION AND SERVICES We may receive information about your location during the course of and for the purpose of providing you the services described above through your use of our websites and mobile applications. For example, if you are using our mobile applications and have consented to sharing your location information with us, this information might be collected through GPS or Bluetooth technologies to enable us to provide certain services to you such as customized offers and promotions. In addition to your use of our websites and mobile applications, we may also receive location information from wireless networks or cellular towers in proximity to your mobile device, through your internet protocol (“IP”) address or through your use of other services we provide at our hotels, such as wireless internet services. SOCIAL MEDIA We may use various social media features such as the Facebook “Like” button on our websites and mobile applications. In the event any information that you provide to us is inaccurate and changes need to be made or you would like certain information deleted, your information can be updated on the Site or by contacting a customer service representative at the MotorInn.  Please note that in some instances it may not be possible to delete certain pieces of your information. In other instances, we may not have the ability to delete certain pieces of information that are stored on our systems or that have been provided to third parties in connection with the services discussed in this Privacy Policy. SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR CALIFORNIA CONSUMERS California residents may request a list of certain third parties to which we have disclosed personally identifiable information about you for their own direct marketing purposes. You may make one request per calendar year. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for your response. You may request this information in writing by contacting us through one of the methods listed under the “How to contact us” section. Please allow up to thirty (30) days for a response. We make no representations or warranties with respect to such third-party websites. CHILDREN Our websites are not intended for children and we do not intentionally solicit or collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we are notified or otherwise discover that a minor’s personal information has been improperly collected, we will take all commercially reasonable steps to delete that information. In limited instances, we may have a campaign or program targeted towards children.
